The semi-automatic Philips HeartStart FR3 defibrillator has been designed for quick response in the event of an emergency. Suitable for use by professional medical responders and paramedics, the HeartStart FR3 defibrillator is available with either a standard text display showing incident data, prompts and graphics, or can be purchased with ECG display so that critical patient information is readily available to the rescuer. The intelligent HeartStart FR3 analyses the patient's heart rhythm and advises whether to administer a shock or first perform CPR before delivering a shock.

The Philips HeartStart FR3 SMART pads III electrode pads are suitable for use on adults and children. Supplied with Child / infant key Allowing the electrodes to be checked during the HeartStart FR3 defibrillator's routine self-tests, the SMART pads III can be pre-connected, also helping to save critical time during a medical emergency. The pads are supplied as a pair and have 2 year lifespan.
