Collection: Fully Automatic Defibrillators

There are two types of AED’s – Semi-Automatic & Fully Automatic. A fully automatic AED will automatically shock the patient once a heart rhythm has been detected without any human intervention if required. This device will give straight forward instructions to the first responder and will count down before the shock is administrated. Where fully automatic units generally have a slower time to shock - there is less responsibility on the first aider to administrate the shock on the patient as the fully automatic unit will administrate the shock automatically. Make sure you are choosing the correct AED for your requirements.
